Just one block west of the Branson Landing lies an inspiring marketplace of creativity: the Plum Bazaar. Step through the doorway of this small purple building and you’ll understand what I mean.
The Plum Bazaar is absolutely filled with handmade jewelry, scarves, purses and countless other beautiful items. The women who work there are pleasant and more than willing to help you pick out the perfect piece of jewelry or the pieces to create a breathtaking piece of your own.
This unique shop also hosts beading technique classes like beginning beading, wire wrapping, wire crochet, watch bracelets and others while providing the experienced or novice jewelry maker with all the materials they need to get started on a project. Pick up aluminum wire, clasps and cords or choose from a fantastic selection of beads that come in just about every shape and color to create a custom-made piece of wearable art that’s unique to you.
If you’re a DIY fanatic, shopping for a girly gift or want to try your hand at jewelry making, the Plum Bazaar is the place to be. Check it out next time you’re in town!
The Plum Bazaar is at 123 E. Main in historic downtown Branson. Just look for the purple building on the corner across from Starbucks!
Hours are 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., seven days a week. To inquire about classes, call 417-337-7586.
