Update On the Branson Landing’s Newest Attraction

IMG_5400Last week I blogged about the new Parakeet Pete’s Waterfront Balloon coming this fall to the Branson Landing and KSPR has published an update about the new developments on the shores of Lake Taneycomo.

According to the article, construction on the 8 story attraction has been going well and it is scheduled to open in about one month. KSPR reported, “when it’s complete it will be the only structure like it in America, and also the tallest in the world.”

The balloon ride will take guests 180 feet up into the air and then rotate 360 degrees so riders can get a birds eye view of the lake and city of Branson. Developers said it will operate in all different weather conditions.

The new attraction is owned by Parakeet Pete’s, which also has a waterfront zipline on the Landing.
