Ride the Ducks: the Quacktastic Way to Tour Branson

Ride The DucksLooking for an interesting way to tour the Branson area? Well, look no further than Ride the Ducks, a sightseeing adventure on both land and water.

Branson’s Ride The Ducks isn’t your average city tour, but it’s just as much an interactive family expedition, narrated by your Duck Captain’s informative and interesting facts about Branson and the Ozarks, along with a few laughs here and there. You’ll even get your own complimentary quacker!

The ducks are modeled after WWII DUKWs, which is a military acronym detailing its different utility purposes. The original DUKWs were trucks encased in a water-tight shell and used to carry ammunition and American troops. Some were later modified to carry 4.5 inch rockets. More recently, Branson’s Ride The Ducks were used for rescue missions in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina hit.

Ride The DucksSo when you’re riding the ducks in Branson, you’re not just a passenger of a cool water/land vehicle — you’re a part of history.

Ride the Ducks will take you on a 70-minute journey through areas like Branson’s entertainment district, Baird Mountain, downtown Branson and Table Rock Dam and will include an exciting splashdown into either Table Rock Lake or Lake Taneycomo, depending on which location you depart from.

Branson’s Ride the Ducks departs from two different locations: the Table Rock Lake Adventure boards at Duck Central on Highway 76 near Wal-Mart and the Lake Taneycomo adventure boards at the Branson Landing, next to Arvest Bank.

Your trip to Branson won’t be complete without Ride the Ducks, an entertaining, educational experience that’s fun for all ages.
