The first reality-musical show of its kind, Branson Famous gives viewers the chance to see what goes on backstage before the curtains are raised and the reality of working closely with family each and every night.
I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about this new show but I think it might be an interesting perspective for the public to see. It’s one thing to sit there in your theater seat and watch this amazing family onstage, getting along, having fun and putting on an incredible show. But it’s another thing entirely to think, “what if that was me and my family up there?”
Don’t get me wrong, I love my family more than anything. My siblings and my parents are some of the greatest people on this earth! But even still — working with them every single night would be a challenge. Every family has those natural rivalries, disagreements and petty fights. And as shocking as it may be, not even the Mabe family is exempt.
Although I’m not a fan of reality shows, I think Branson Famous is a very interesting way to show the public that the Mabe family can push through all the typical family drama and still come out on top with an incredible show that has entertained decades of Branson visitors and will continue to do for decades to come.
