Benefit Concert Gives Back to the Branson Community

Coats for KidsGift of Hope Inc., a nonprofit organization, is partnering with Dance Branson School of the Arts to present a special Coats for Kids Christmas Concert tomorrow at Jackie B. Goode’s Uptown Cafe.

The event will feature Dance Branson School of the Arts vocal students and Bucky Heard, a local Branson performer who has shared the stage with Tony Orlando, Mickey Gilley, Yakov Smirnoff and many more.

Admission to the event is free but those who attend are asked to bring a donation of a new article of warm clothing for children Pre-K to 12th grade. Coats, mittens, scarves, gloves and hats are all acceptable donations.

All donations will go to benefit Gift of Hope, an organization that has been serving families in Taney Country since 1989 by meeting physical, financial and emotional needs.

Jackie B. Goode’s Uptown Cafe is at 285 Missouri 165, Branson, Mo., just around the corner from the Clay Cooper Theatre.
