Just 50 minutes south of Branson lies the town of Western Grove, Arkansas, where a very special seasonal event takes place every year: the Ozark Mt. Christmas Tree Hunt Festival.
This family-friendly outdoor event started back in 1990 with a family tradition and has since grown to incorporate hundreds of other families from the Ozarks.
The festival takes place on 25 acres of land and features live entertainment from local musicians, holiday treats, local vendors, rides for the kids and much much more. The kids will enjoy a festive hay ride to Grandpa Christmas’ cabin where they will receive hot cocoa, milk and cookies while Grandpa tells the story of how the Christmas tree hunt began. Then they’ll hop back on the hay ride for a trip down the lighted path to the magical hidden Christmas tree where a special present awaits each child.
