Downtown Branson Streetscape Project Continues
Phase one of the Downtown Streetscape Project began earlier this month and continues with consistent progress. Period closings in the downtown area can continue to be expected with work being done on Commercial Street, Pacific Street and Veterans Boulevard. According to a press release from the City of Branson, “the Streetscape Improvement Project will include storm sewer pipe installation, new underground water lines, pavement, sidewalks, streets, lighting, benches and landscaping improvements.”
According to a press release published earlier this month, a new road and driveway opened at Cox Medical Center in Branson, providing a safer route from the outpatient center to the south side of the campus. The road will improve traffic by eliminating the need to utilize Branson Landing Boulevard. The opening of this new road followed close behind the September opening of the first phase of the new emergency department and critical care unit.
