November Construction Update

TangerHello Branson Shows blog readers! I always strive to keep you all up to date on the latest news, shows and events in Branson so here’s the latest on the construction projects in the area.

New Bank of Missouri in Branson

According to a report from the Springfield News-Leader, the Bank of Missouri broke ground on a 7,100 square-foot building on Monday, Nov. 3. The new state-of-the-art building will be located at 1313 State Highway 248 in Branson. The Bank of Missouri has several different locations in Poplar Bluff, Columbia, Springfield, Republic, Ozark, Jackson, Perryville, Cape Girardeau, Scott City, Patton, Scott City and Branson.

TangerMore New Tanger Outlet Stores Open

Just in time for the holiday season, the even more new stores are open at Tanger Outlets including Helzberg Diamonds, Pandora, Adidas, Sunglass Hut, Talbots, Express Factory Outlet and Go! Calendars, Games and Toys. All of the new upgrades and additions are set to be finalized in the Spring of 2015.

Downtown Branson Streetscape Project Continues

Phase one of the Downtown Streetscape Project began earlier this month and continues with consistent progress. Period closings in the downtown area can continue to be expected with work being done on Commercial Street, Pacific Street and Veterans Boulevard. According to a press release from the City of Branson, “the Streetscape Improvement Project will include storm sewer pipe installation, new underground water lines, pavement, sidewalks, streets, lighting, benches and landscaping improvements.”

New Road at Cox BransonConstruction

According to a press release published earlier this month, a new road and driveway opened at Cox Medical Center in Branson, providing a safer route from the outpatient center to the south side of the campus. The road will improve traffic by eliminating the need to utilize Branson Landing Boulevard. The opening of this new road followed close behind the September opening of the first phase of the new emergency department and critical care unit.
