The Historic Owen Theatre will host a local fundraiser called Downtown Follies for the first time on Saturday, November 2 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The fundraiser, meant to raise funds and awareness for the downtown Branson project Preservation and Progress, will feature Branson officials and business owners including Fire Chief Ted Martin, Dicks 5 & 10 CEO Steve Hartley, Mayor Raeanne Presley and others.
The cast of inexperienced performers will be joined onstage by veteran entertainers Keith Allynn, Blake Walker and others. Guests of the fundraising events will enjoy guest appearances from Motown Downtown at 3 p.m. and The Duttons at 7 p.m. as well as Sammy King, a world famous ventriloquist at both the 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. shows.
Special VIP seats are available and include a private meet and greet with the performers as well as an assortment of samples from local downtown restaurants including the Downtown Diner and Bakery, Main Street Alley, Greek Gyros & Deli and several more.
