5 Reasons to Zip in the Fall with the Branson Zipline

The Branson Zipline is an awesome outdoor adventure, no matter what time of year it is. Even so, fall is an especially great time to zip and if you haven’t been, here’s why!

1. The fall foliage

Mid to late October is typically the best time to view the most beautiful, striking fall colors throughout the canopy of trees that covers the Ozark Mountains. With the Branson Zipline, you’ll be thrown right into the middle of it as you fly through the canopy at high speed. You’ll get to ride to the top of Wolfe Mountain and then zipline back down right through the most colorful trees.

2. Cooler weather

During the hot days of summer you’ll work up a sweat ziplining but autumn provides cooler days that make for a refreshing, breezy ride across each of the zips. The Branson Zipline operates in all kinds of weather, as long as there is no lightning present, and even if you’ve been ziplining before, a different seasonal experience is always a blast.

3. Pick up some great gifts

The Branson Zipline has a one-of-a-kind gift shop inside Wolfe Creek Station boasting all kinds of unique items. It opens daily at 8 a.m. and features a themed shopping experience from Wolfe Creek in the early 1800s. You can choose from a wide array of Branson Zipline apparel, nostalgic toys, birdhouses, home decor, handmade Amish goods and so much more.

4. Soak up the outdoors

If you love the outdoors like me, about this time of year you’re looking for any opportunity to soak up the last semi-warm days of fall before winter hits. The Branson Zipline is a great way to do just that! Maybe a day spent zipping through the trees at high speed will hold you over until the warm weather of spring returns.

5. Beacause anytime is a good time

A zipline adventure with the Branson Zipline is so much fun so anytime is a great time to try it out. You’ll want to come back time and time again and bring the whole family for an all-encompassing zipline experience, complete with great shopping, a little bit of history about the area and of course — fantastic thrills.

The Branson Zipline is located right off Highway 65 at 2339 US Highway 65, Walnut Shade, Mo. For tickets or more information, click here.
