Get Lost In Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors

This week in Branson I stopped by Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors on the main strip and had quite the adventure.

Going into it, I thought it would be a simple mirror maze that would take only a few minutes to find my way through. Boy was I wrong. This maze is serious business!

The story of Princess Hannah makes the experience an all-encompassing one, as your purpose in going through the maze is to find her and rescue her. She was blessed with great beauty and grew to be a very vain individual, demanding that mirrors be placed everywhere throughout her parent’s castle so she could always gaze upon her own beauty. Soon after, a rather unattractive witch was offended by a comment Hannah made about her appearance, so the witch cursed Hannah and she was hidden away in the maze of mirrors. It’s your job to make it through the maze and rescue her so she can realize the error of her ways. Pretty cool huh?

The gentleman at the ticket counter warned me not to run as I entered into the maze filled with endless archways and reflections of myself. I wondered why he would take the time to warn me about not running but I quickly realized that I couldn’t even walk quickly through the maze because if I did, I would most likely run face first into a mirror. So take his advice — don’t run.

I wandered through the maze, arms outstretched, carefully feeling my way through the endless tunnels and wondered if I should have brought someone in with me to help me get out. I later found out that this maze has more 288 potential turns and that would explain why I ended up right back at the very beginning after about ten minutes of wandering.

My second attempt through the maze was a successful one. I don’t want to give too much away, but there are several clues throughout the maze that will help you find the exit point. All you have to do is make the right turns to reach those clues and you’re golden.

I’d love to go back through Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors and I would definitely recommend trying it out. Just bring someone with you! The maze is fun for adventure seekers of all ages. You can even buy combo tickets for the mirror maze, Hollywood Wax Museum, Castle of Chaos and Shoot For the Stars Mini Golf for a full day of fun.

All these great attractions are at 3030 W. Hwy. 76, Branson, just 1/3 of a mile from the Baldknobbers Country Music Theatre.

  1. Typically a mirror maze doesn’t sound appealing, but this one sounds like it has the works! A great back story as well as the size to make this a true worthwhile experience! I would definitely love to go through this maze!

  2. Mirror mazes are so much fun! I haven’t been to this one, but they are incredibly disorienting and exciting. I’ll have to check it out!
