Get Spooked With Branson’s Halloween Activities

Branson Ghost TourWith October creeping closer and closer, Halloween will be upon us before we know it. Branson has a variety of fun special events for the whole family in late October and you don’t want to miss out! Make sure to mark your calendar with these fun events.

Halloween Boonanza

Where: Branson RecPlex

When: Oct. 25

Time: 5-8 p.m.

Kids ages 12 and under will enjoy a trick-or-treat maze, a haunted hay ride, costume contest, cup cake walk, kids craft area, face painting, balloon animals and jumping inflatables. The Sonshine Monster Mob will also be performing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” to complete a night of creepy entertainment. Halloween treats will be available at the concession stand. Safe Street Trick-or-Treat and Monster Mash Street Dance

Where: The Branson Landing

When: Oct. 31

Time: 5-7 p.m.

Get all dressed up in your best Halloween drab and Trick-or-Treat up and down the Landing Trick-or-Treat street. Children ages 12 and under in costume will have a blast visiting each retailer with a pumpkin sign in the window and collecting all kinds of sweets and goodies. The Monster Mash Street Dance at the Landing square will begin after Trick-or-Treating at 7 p.m. and will be DJ’d by SRM Productions. For more information, click here.

TangerStyle or Treat

Where: Tanger Outlet Mall

When: Oct. 31

Time: 5-7 p.m.

Bring the kids out to the Tanger Oulet Mall for some Halloween goodies. Make sure they come dressed in costume! Kids won’t be the only ones getting a Halloween treat though — parents will also receive TangerStyle coupons. For more information, click here.

Haunted Hillbilly Halloween

Where: Branson Ghosts and Legends and Historic Owen Theatre

When:Oct. 31

Time: event begins at 7:59 p.m.

Start the evening off at the Branson Ghosts and Legends office with some delicious ghostly treats. Then follow one of the costumed guides through the dark alleyways that lead to the Historic Owen Theatre. You’ll enjoy creepy ghost stories and legends from your guide on the way there. Once at the theater, you’ll have the opportunity to take a costumed portrait with a yet-to-be-seen essence and enter a costume contest. The first place winner will receive $200 cash and 2nd and 3rd place will be the recipients of a dinner/show combo at one of Branson’s popular theaters. This event will also feature the premiere showing of a recently discovered documentary from the 1930’s featuring Jim Owen and Rose O’Neil. In addition to all that fun, you’ll get to experience the Ghost Hour Show Live with Ed and Karen Underwood, authors of “Haunted Springfield.” For more information, click here.
