The Branson Tri-Lakes News published a press release stating that former president George W. Bush appeared as the keynote speaker at this Monday’s Tracker Marine Conference at Big Cedar Lodge.
“The president’s father, George W. Bush, addressed the same convention 20 years ago in 1994, in nearby Springfield,” according to the article.
Bush, an outdoorsman himself, was invited by Big Cedar Lodge Founder and CEO Johnny Morris and spoke about his family’s love for the outdoors, the efforts his administration made to conserve natural resources and talked about his new book, “41 — A Portrait of My Father.”
The Tracker Marine Group is celebrating 36 years of business and is headquartered in Springfield, Mo.
