Visit with some of the country’s top knife makers at the Hammer-in & Knife Show, an exciting knife-making event hosted by the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead this September 27-28 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. both days.
The event will be a “complete custom knife making experience” with two gas forges and one coal forge in the demonstration area where continuous demos will be held all weekend. The demonstrations will include all aspects of knife making including the forging of blades with hammer and anvil, grinding and heat treatments of the blades, construction of handles and guards, handle carving and scrimshaw and sheath construction.
All of these events are free to the public. The Shepherd of the Hills Homestead is located at 5586 Hwy. 76, Branson, two miles north of the Branson IMAX.
