Annual Car & Motorcycle Show to Benefit Local Food Pantry

antique motorcycleThe 8th Annual Car & Motorcycle Show is being presented by Friends in Deed at First Baptist Nixa this Saturday starting at 8 a.m.

The show will benefit Least of These Food Pantry which serves Christian County. Last year’s show raised more than $2300 and 400 pounds of food for the full service food pantry.

Participants can bring their cars and motorcycles out for display only or to be judged. Registration will be from 8 a.m.- 10 a.m. and show time is from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

antique carSpectating is free but visitors are asked to bring donations of canned goods, personal hygiene products, diapers and baby wipes, dish soap, etc.

Come out and donate to help the more than 8,000 people in Christian county who live in poverty all while viewing some pretty sweet rides, savory barbeque from Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, live entertainment from Mike Wiloughby’s Standing Room Only, a rare 1982 Berlina on display from Corvettes Unlimited and even a visit from Springfield Batman.

  1. This seems fun to check out and also spectating is free but visitors are asked to bring donations so it makes it for a good cause as well.
