If you had a blast at the Branson Balloon Festival this August or if you missed out, here’s your chance at some more hot air balloon festivities with the 19th Annual Arkansas Hot Air Balloon State Championship.
The Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting this outdoor event in downtown Harrison, Arkansas starting tomorrow and continuing through Sunday, Sept. 7.
The festival will kick off Friday night with the Hare and the Hound Balloon Race and continue on Saturday morning with more balloon race competitions. Evening festivities will continue with balloons tethered to the ground for the Balloon Glow, tethered balloon rides for $5 and inflatables, pony rides, face painting for the kids and of course food for the whole family.
From 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, The Harrison Art League will be hosting the 3rd Annual Blue Sky Art Festival on the Court House square showcasing more than 30 artist booths, vendors and live entertainment.
