Join Yakov Smirnoff for his new dinner show that promises to have you “laughing your Yak-off” as he recounts his experiences being the new kid on the block and shares his relational philosophies with hilarity and laughter.
His fame well precedes Branson with his job as a stand-up comedian in Odessa, Ukraine where he entertained on ships sailing the Black Sea. He made his way to America in 1977 with his parents and became a U.S. citizen.
He quickly gained fame as a comedian and also starred in several films with actors and actresses like Robin Williams, Tom Hanks and Meryl Steep while also pursuing other interests such as art and teaching. In 1992, he opened his own theater in Branson, Missouri.
Since then, he has entertained more then 4 million people and produced a number of award winning shows that each encompass his mission statement, “to experience happiness and teach it to the world with passion through comedy and sensitivity.”
Yakov’s dinner show makes for an entertaining evening for all ages and is one of those shows that will have you coming back year after year. It will begin showing Friday, October 3 and continue through Sunday, December 7 so make sure you experience this one-of-a-kind entertainer while he’s in Branson!
