Silver Dollar City Closes Geyser Gulch in Preparation for Something Big

Silver Dollar CityAccording to an article from KY3, Silver Dollar City recently announced the closure of one of its family attractions, Geyser Gulch.

Geyser Gulch opened in 1997 and will close on Sunday, August 3 in preparation for something even better.

Silver Dollar City will be making an official announcement August 13 about its plans for that area of the park.

  1. I never even had a chance to go to Silver Dollar City yet. So, I won’t get to go to this attraction. I least I’ll have a chance to go to the new thing they open in its place.

  2. I went to Geyser Gulch as a kid–it was so much fun! I wonder what they are going to replace it with…it will be hard to top that!

  3. I use to love Geyser Gulch when I was a kid! I absolutely loved it! It’s super excited to see what Silver Dollar City has up their sleeve.
