The yearly celebration continues this Thursday with the 78th Ozark Empire Fair featuring dozens of fun activities and attractions that are fun for the entire family.
Affectionately known as the summer’s biggest party, this year’s fair is scheduled to be held at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds and Event Center in Springfield, MO, just north of Branson.
The Ozark Empire fair is one of southwest Missouri’s largest fairs, so you definitely won’t want to miss out on this one since it’s only a short drive from Branson.
With attractions and rides like Charlie the Chopper, competitive pig races, the acrobatic dogs of K9’S in Flight, an exotic petting zoo, camel rides, a show and shine car show, a live and local market complete with a cooking stage and more, you might not have enough time to see it all in just one day!
Luckily, the fair continues from this Thursday, July 24 to Saturday, August 2 so you and your family have plenty of time to soak up all the fun and excitement.
The Ozark Empire Fairgrounds and Event Center is located at 3001 N. Grant Ave., Springfield MO 65803, just half a mile down Norton Road from Dickerson Park Zoo.
