Branson Mountain Man Triathlon is Back

Mountain Man Triathlon All you exercise junkies out there can get excited because the 2014 Mountain Man Triathlon is almost here with some big improvements to make your race experience even more enjoyable.

The race, which is scheduled to take place on August 16 at the Branson RecPlex, will encompass swimming, biking and running for an all around physically challenging experience.

You’ll start with a 400-yard swimming leg with a walk-out exit before you run to your bike and cycle through the hills of Branson. You’ll bike a total of 15.5 miles before you reach the 5K running leg where you’ll race on foot through the Ozark hills, finishing up at the finish line back at the RecPlex.

Mountain Man Triathlon This year’s race will feature improved timing services, race photos available for purchase, fun SWAG and package pickups and a team award for the best represented team.

A junior triathlon is also available on the same day at the Branson RecPlex for ages 12 and under. The activities will all be held at the sports and recreation center and and won’t require children to be out on the roads. Activities vary based on age, but all the kids will receive a medal for finishing the race.

  1. This looks tiring. I mean, I would love to watch it, but I remember how wore out I was on the 10k run a did for the Centurion Mud Challenge. It was also cold that day too. I give props to everyone that does these events. It takes dedication.
