Get Creative with ‘Cookies to Canvas’

Cookies to CanvasChristine Hawkins, the owner of The Social Easel in Springfield, MO, is hosting a painting party for kids at Branson’s IMAX Entertainment Complex called Cookies to Canvas, where they can both paint AND eat chocolate chip cookies.

This new event is scheduled for three Thursdays in July; July 10, July 17 and July 24. Each painting class will begin at 10 a.m.

The kids will receive step-by-step painting instructions from Hawkins as she teaches them how to draw a cute little lemur, to go along with the theme of the new IMAX film, “Madagascar: Island of the Lemurs.”

Cookies to CanvasRefreshments will be available and the Branson Bank will be providing their famous chocolate chip cookies for all the children to have.

All painting supplies will be provided by The Social Easel and all participants will get to take home their painted masterpiece and a free children’s movie ticket that can be redeemed at the Branson IMAX, Elite Cinema III or Branson Meadows Cinema 11 through the end of 2014.

The Branson IMAX Entertainment Complex is located at 3562 Shepherd of the Hills Expwy., Branson, MO 65616, just a half mile west of Hamner’s Variety Theater.
