Visit Silver Dollar City for Moonlight Madness Late Night Fun

silver dollar cityThere’s always something fun to do at Silver Dollar City but the upcoming weeks will be especially packed with excitement at Branson’s only 1800’s mining city as Moonlight Madness takes over the park when the sun goes down.

Beginning July 19 and ending August 3, moonlight madness will feature extended ride time on all your favorite coasters and rides so you can keep the fun coming until 10 p.m. Midnight Madness is also back by popular demand, so on July 26 and August 2 the park will be open until midnight!

silver dollar cityMoonlight Madness will also include a fireworks show by New Echo Hollow Fireworks Finale every night at 9 p.m., wild and wacky science experiment demonstrations by physicist David Willey in the Riverfront Playhouse, country music shows from the Great American Country Nights and late night street dances every evening at 9:30 p.m. on the City’s Square. Don’t worry if you haven’t practiced your free-styling lately — dances will include all your favorites like the Chicken Dance, The Electric Slide, Cotton-Eyed Joe and more.

The park will also feature special food and merchandise specials at select shops so you can stock up on your Silver Dollar City t-shirts, sunglasses and souvenirs.silver dollar city

  1. The only thing better than a roller coaster is a roller coaster in the dark! Wildfire is always my favorite to ride in Moonlight Madness, but I still need to try out Powder Keg and Outlaw Run!
