Fry Up a New Dish With Cooking Classes for Kids at the Branson Community Center

Branson Community Center Beginning July 8, The Branson Community Center will be hosting cooking classes for children ages 6-12 to teach basic cooking skills, food safety, sanitation and nutrition.

Chef Aaron Walker will supervise and do all the cooking and sharp utensil-handling as she walks your children through her revamped recipes of some of their favorite foods, including pizza, spaghetti and meatballs and a build-your-own taco bar. At the end of every cooking course, kids will be able to take home a recipe card and a tasty entrée to share with the entire family. A total of 12 classes are scheduled to be held between July 8 and August 14, but you are free to register for just one class if you’d like.

Classes will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. and pre-registration is required at the Branson RecPlex or online at http://www.bransonparksandrecreation.com/files/1403809538_Calling%20all%20chefs%20kids%20cooking%20class.pdf.
