Branson's IMAX TheaterIt might be hard to get the kids out of bed before 10 a.m. on an everyday basis, even while you’re on vacation. But if you’re vacationing in Branson this July, your kids will have two great reasons to rise and shine: endless pancake breakfasts and free movies at Branson’s IMAX Theater!

That’s right. Every Wednesday this July, Branson’s IMAX Theater is featuring a family friendly movie FREE on a first come, first served basis.

Pick up your ticket in person from the IMAX/Elite Cinema Box Office beginning at 8:30 a.m. before the movie begins at 9:30 a.m. every Wednesday morning in the Elite Cinema III.McFarlaines

For a hot and delicious breakfast before the show, head to McFarlain’s Family Restaurant for All-You-Can-Eat-Pancakes from 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.

Wondering what’s playing at the IMAX during Free Movie Wednesdays? Here’s a complete list:

July 2: How to Train Your Dragon (PG): “The son of a Viking chief must capture a dragon in order to mark his passage into manhood and prove his worthiness to the tribe.”

July 9: Hotel Transylvania (PG): “An animated tale about a hotel where monsters such as Dracula, The Invisible Man, Frankenstein and his bride (along with a host of others) head to relax away from a world full of humans.”

July 16: The Karate Kid 2010 (PG): “When a 12-year-old from Detroit moves to China and incurs the wrath of the class bully, he makes an unlikely ally … a Kung Fu master who teaches him the secrets to self-defense.”

July 23: Madagascar 3 (PG): “The third entry in the Madagascar franchise finds the tight knit group of animals joining a traveling circus in order to get back home.”

July 30: Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 (PG): “Just as young Flint prepares to go to work for his hero, he learns that his water-to-food machine is not only still functional, but it’s also started cross-breeding animals with food.”

  1. I have already seen all these movies but I would love to see them in IMAX for free! Actually all of these movies were really fun also. Plus all you can eat pancakes! Challenge accepted…
