According to an article published by the Branson Tri-Lakes News, the College of the Ozarks Farmers Market opened for business at the end of May and is now selling fresh produce, breads, melons, flower plants, meat products and milk from the campus dairy.
All of the products sold at the farmers market have either been grown or made by current students.
New to 2014, culinary students will also be doing live cooking demonstrations using campus grown products every Friday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
If you’re looking for somewhere to buy locally grown and harvested food and support the community while you’re in the Branson area, this one is just seven minutes from Branson and is located in the Sale Barn on the College of the Ozarks campus.
Market hours are 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
