The Legends Play On This Weekend at Big Cedar Lodge Despite the Rain

Big Cedar Lodge Legends of GolfWhile yesterday’s rainy weather put a slight damper on the Legends of Golf Tournament at Big Cedar Lodge with several hours of delays, the participants were able to finish a full day’s worth of golf.

Big Cedar Lodge posted links on the Legends of Golf website to direct spectators to their Facebook and Twitter accounts for updates on the schedule of play due to the inclement weather.

According to an article by the Associated Press on ESPN‘s website, “Kenny Perry and Russ Cochran teamed to birdie the final three holes for a share of the lead with Jeff Sluman and Fred Funk on Friday in the Champions Tour’s Legends of Golf.”

Today’s weather seems to be cooperating with the golfers, but this weekend’s forecast is still predicting rain for both today and tomorrow.

Today’s tournament schedule is as follows:

  • 7:30 am – Gates Open – Both Courses
    First Tee Time – Approximate
  • 9:30 am – Top of the Rock (12 Teams)
  • 9:30 am – Buffalo Ridge (13 Teams)
    Both Courses: First 9 alternate shot, Second 9 Best Ball
  • 5:00 pm – Estimated Time for End of Play, both courses
