Break a World Record in Branson With the Ozark Mountain Shindig Shuffle

Get crazy this Saturday night, May 31, at 10:30 p.m. as Branson concludes the Ozark Mountain Shindig Spring Celebration by hosting an attempt to break the record for the world’s longest shindig line dance!

You’re invited to line the sidewalks of Highway 76 all the way from Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theatre to Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and dance the night away with an original song written by the Hughes Brothers & Family that highlights out the unique cultural sound of music from the Ozarks.

Just tune your radio to My 100.1 radio to hear the Shindig Shuffle played at 10:30 p.m.,10:35 p.m. and 10:40 p.m.

Don’t know how to do the Shindig Shuffle? You have two options. One — just shuffle around and pretend like you know what you’re doing, or two — check out this instructional video from the “it” Show in Branson. You can also visit to watch the Shindig Shuffle music video on YouTube.

Have fun and send us your selfies and videos!

  1. This sounds like it would have been soo much fun! Especially since I would have been just shuffling around and pretending I knew what I was doing. 😀
